This tastefully decorated apartment consists of an open plan living and dining area, two bedrooms (both able to be set up as either king size or twin beds), large cot available, bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and a welcome pack are supplied. 2 sets of golf clubs supplied in the apartment.

This luxury second floor apartment can sleep up to six people. Air-conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms throughout keep you cool whilst central heating keeps you snug and warm in the evenings if required. There is a furnished and covered south facing terrace with a garden area which overlooks the calm and peaceful surroundings including the large swimming pool.

There are 4 quality pool sunbeds and beach towels or the exclusive use of our guests. Please note most apartments on the resort do not supply sunbeds.

The Seve Ballesteros Peraleja designed course is adjacent to the complex.

"A brilliant apartment,perfect for a holiday with all the comforts of home...........From the moment we stepped into the apartment it was obvious that much thought had gone into furnishing and equipping it. Cool, tasteful decor, very comfortable beds (with cotton bedding-bliss!) and sofas with every thought to make it an ideal base. The air-con was much needed, especially in the high season, but there were also radiators for cooler weather. The kitchen was very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, halogen hob and oven plus a wide array of all the pots and pans you could want. The bathroom was fantastic! Lots of space, a shower over a full sized bath and clean and modern. The sink unit with it's cupboard underneath was bang up to date. One of the bonuses for us was not having to bring beach towels as they are provided....well worth it as you have more room in your suitcase! We ate on the terrace every day, enjoying the varied views of the mountains (great sunsets), the 14th hole on the golf course, and the outdoor multi-gym in the distance, plus of course the swimming pool right next door. In fact, from apartment to pool took approx 30 seconds!

2 Bedrooms both being able to be set up as either king size or twin beds, as required.

There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.

Bathroom with bath, shower over, wc, bidet. Heated towel rail, towels and hair dryer.

2 large sofas, (one sofa bed) and chairs with 32" flat screen TV together with British Satellite television, DVD and a CD player. Views of swimming pool, golf course and mountains.

Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, pans, glasses, plates, cups, crockery etc and a welcome pack on arrival.

Towels and linen are included and are changed each week, or at the end of your stay if that is sooner. Please bring your own pool/beach towels.

Activities

This region has an average annual temperature of 21 degree C and 300 days of sunshine every year. There are many golf courses in this area and lots to do as well for the non-golfer.

The apartment is located in the Nicklaus designed Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort with discounted green fees starting at 45 Euros as part of your stay.

Tee times can be booked directly from the apartment.

Two sets of golf clubs are supplied in the apartment.

There is good fishing and hill climbing in this area. Horse riding available, go karting and much more.

This area is well known for its festivals and its historic buildings.

The whole complex at Hacienda Riquelme has been developed around a splendid 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It has a total area of 1.353.041 sq metres with the golf course, green areas and communal services all within a protected perimeter. CCTV cameras and controlled access to the resort ensure 24 hour security.

Apart from the course itself there are a host of other facilities such as a clubhouse, pro-shop, driving range and golf academy.

Every care has been taken to preserve the charm and elegance of this manor estate, with its beautiful landscaped gardens, water features, large avenues flanked by native plants and views through the valley to the Mar Menor.

The location and setting of Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort combines both the romance of the past along with all the conveniences of modern living.

The accommodation on the resort features apartments set in small groups around communal pools overlooking the golf course.

In the centre of Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is the new Town Centre with the heritage of the old Hacienda including bars, restaurants, supermarket, and leisure facilitites.

To Help You Get The Most From Your Holiday

Meet and Greet - Aidan, our friendly keyholder will meet you at the gatehouse, take you to the apartment and show you where everything is and how it works. Aidan lives on the resort and is available in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong. He is also available all week to help with information about the resort and the area. If you will be arriving late, Aidan can get you a starter grocery pack to your order. - There is a small additional charge for the Meet and Greet service.

Information Book - We have provided a ringbinder with information on the apartment, local restaurants, shops, beaches, watersports, interesting places to visit, festivals, golf, etc. It includes maps to show you where these things are and to help you find your way around easily.

Golf Clubs - We have provided three full sets of clubs for you to use. This will save you the trouble and expense of bringing your own clubs or hiring them on the resort .

Hacienda Riquelme golf resort

Outside

The apartment is on the second floor with terrace overlooking the swimming pool and 14th Green. The covered Terrace is ideal for watching the kids play or taking it easy as the sun goes down with all day sunshine.

The sun rises at the back of the apartment and sets in front of the terrace. Because of the shape of the terrace you will always be able to find a sunny or shady spot, whichever you prefer.

Accessibility

The apartment may not be suitable for wheelchair users although a lift is part of the apartment access.

Please be aware that this is a second floor apartment and caution must be taken at all times whilst on the terrace with young children.

Coast/beach

Murcia's main attraction is the Mar Menor with a large lagoon separated by a long strip of land - La Manga. The calm, shallow waters are ideal for bathing. The temperature of the Mar Menor is 5ºc warmer than that of the Mediterranean.
and an extra feature is the mud bathes which are famous for any skin ailments and is free.

Travel

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is located only 15 minutes from Murcia City and the airport and 10 minutes from the Mar Menor and its beaches. Car Hire is recommended and this can be arranged independently or though Polaris World who will transport you by courtesy car to the resort.

With Murcia International Airport 15 minutes away, Murcia-San Javier only 10 minutes away.

The near by village of Sucina, has everything you need including supermarkets, restaurants and bars, banks and a lovely bakery.

From Alicante Airport to Sucina

On leaving the airport follow signs to the Motorway A7/E15 towards Murcia. Stay on the motorway until junction 77 near Crevillente and then take the AP7 motorway to Cartegena going through two toll boths at 3.15 euros each. Leave the motorway at junction 780 signpost to Sucina. Follow this road until you see Hacienda Requelme exit signs. Travel time 35 minutes

From Murcia Airport to Sucina

Take the C3319 in the direction of Murcia from the airport. Then take the Sucina-Avileses F-20 junction. Once on this road carry on straight through the village of Avileses and towards the direction of Sucina. Pass Sucina and take the Hacienda Requelme exit. Travel time 10 minutes.

Bookings

We require a £150 security deposit which will be refunded within 10 working days of departure after an inventory check. A £150 deposit will secure your booking, and the balance is payable in full 6 weeks before your holiday.

In addition, please leave 55 euros in the apartment prior to departure for the cleaning/laundry charge. A meet and greet service is available in-resort at a charge of £15 to show you around the apartment as well as hand over the keys.
